Cedarwood oil is obtained from steam distillation of Cedarwood tree's wood, stumps, logs and wood shavings, yielding about 2.5 to 5 percent.
Cedarwood Oil could be used as an ingredient for room sprays, perfumes and as an insect repellent, especially for mosquitoes. Oils like Bergamot, Benzoin, Cinnamon, Jasmine, Lemon, Lime, Lavender, Rose and Rosemary form good blends with Cedarwood Oil.
